Initial Appointment 60-90 minutes

Our initial appointment is carried out in three steps:

1. We have plenty of time to discuss your pain, giving you the space to tell your story, explaining symptoms, voicing concerns and asking any questions.

2. A full, in-depth musculoskeletal and neurological examination is performed.

3. A summary of your diagnosis, how long we would expect the condition to last and a management plan is agreed. This evidence based approach to management can involve manual therapy, specialist spinal rehabilitation, lifestyle advice and general exercise advice. The treatment will be individualised and tailored to your specific needs.

In the event we are not the right service for you we will provide a GP letter or referral to a specialist service without added cost. Due to our work in the NHS we have built great relationships with local medical providers and fully understand NHS pathways, making sure you're seen by the right service promptly.

Follow Up Sessions 30-60 minutes

Our Follow Up Sessions are designed to track your progress and adjust the treatment plan accordingly. This may involve manual therapy such as massage or joint mobilisations, exercise plan adaptations or further referral if necessary.

First Contact Care 30 minutes  (Diagnosis/Second Opinion without Treatment)

Our First Contact Care appointment will provide you with an in depth assessment and diagnosis if you are looking for a second opinion on your pain without committing to having treatment with us.

This involves a discussion, physical examination and diagnosis summary. A clinic letter summary is also provided for your GP or any onward care you may require.

This is aimed at providing an expert opinion if you've been put on a long NHS waiting list or you have already had standard treatment without success.
